“Teaching in the Internet age means we must teach tomorrow’s skills today.” – Jennifer Fleming
As the Instructional Technology Facilitator, that is where I come in. I am here to support teachers in their use of educational technology to not only motivate and engage students but to also prepare them for the world they will enter upon graduation. By working together, I will help teachers implement technology based activities in the classroom that foster an environment of creativity and critical thinking.
I have been a Wake County, NC educator since 2006. I am originally from Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University. After moving to North Carolina in 2006, I taught 5th grade for 7 years. I took a break to stay home with my twin daughters born in 2014. I obtained a Master’s of Science in Instructional Media 2016. I am also working to obtain my Computer Education Endorsement.
